Second trimester - feeling weak and shaky

Is this normal? It's almost like the feeling you get when you have had lots of sugar and suddenly have a crash. Just feel weak and dizzy and feel like I need to eat to feel better. But eating doesn't help and it's near enough constant.

I can function normally but it's just not a nice way to feel. I am 15 weeks. I'll probably ask the midwife tomorrow but wondering whether it's something to worry about?

I eat healthily and make sure I don't have much sugar besides fruit to cause these spikes but almost wonder if it could be the start of diabetes?

Many thanks for any ideas

I had this issue. I was convinced I had gestational diabetes, but all tests were fine. Someone on here suggested I was dehydrated and I think that was the answer.

That's interesting @AntiHop thank you. I never drink enough, during the first trimester I was constantly thirsty so drank a bit, but now the thirst is gone I have gone back to my old habits. I have maybe 2 pints of water a day but exercise and occasionnally have a cup of coffee which I know can dehydrate so perhaps it's not enough. Did yours eventually pass?
