As the title says!

It will be ten working days tomorrow from my 12 week screening and still no bloody results through the post.

How long did yours take?

From memory I think mine took just over a week. Maybe if it’s not arrived by the end of the week give them a call.

Rubyrecka · 30/03/2021 18:23

Yes tried to call them earlier but no answer. I’m taking it as a positive sign they have written to me rather than call but getting abit impatient now!

I never got mine through the post,

I was so anxious waiting for them as well !

When I was up at the hospital a couple weeks after it I asked , the midwife said where I am they only notify you if there's a problem.

Chelyanne · 30/03/2021 18:27

Mine were about a week after the dating scan.

Rubyrecka · 30/03/2021 18:29

Oh really @toto23 I did ask my midwife when I spoke to her last week when I can expect them and she said we’ll go through them in our next meeting but that’s on the 14th April!

I’m sure the hospital said between 7-10 days for the letter

When I was pregnant in 2019 they said the wait can be up to two weeks and they said most of the time if you haven't heard anything in over a week it's usually a better sign. If something was wrong they usually call you within a week I think.

toto23 · 30/03/2021 18:36

@Rubyrecka

I was only up at the hospital that time because I'm consultant led, and I'm pretty sure if I hadn't asked I wouldn't have been told, but then again the midwife couldn't figure out why I was up at the hospital that day even after I told her why I was there.

olderthanyouthink · 30/03/2021 18:38

Within an hour of the scan and the hospital I'm with now, last time it was a while and post I think but now they do it within a few hours I think (definitely within a day)

I had 12 week scan and bloods done yesterday and the lady who took my bloods said my results would be discussed at 16 week midwife, same as last pregnancy. Perhaps some health boards don't send them direct to patient

RunnerGirl123 · 30/03/2021 21:16

I think mine was around 2 and a half weeks. Felt like ages, but I realised it must be low risk after the first week.

NinaMimi · 30/03/2021 22:31

No news is generally good news. Where I am we don’t get results in the post. They phone you if there’s a problem. Otherwise you find out results at next midwife appointment.

Rubyrecka · 31/03/2021 20:29

They arrived today! Bang on 10 days. All fine. Thanks for replies Daffodil

I was told at my 12 week scan I’d get the results verbally through my midwife. This was almost two weeks ago and I’ve heard nothing. I’m thinking no news is good news but I do intend to ring and chase it up tomorrow x
