Hi all,
I found out I was pregnant on 16/03. My period is irregular and my cycle varies from 27-35 days. I got my positive on CD 37. I got my peak ovulation on 25/02 and DDD 26/27/28. These are the dates I conceived as my partner is in the military and this was the only time he was home. From these dates I should be 4/5 weeks pregnant. The hospital are dating me 7 weeks from LMP which was 08/02.
After weeing I noticed I had wiped light brown blood on 17/03. I began cramping and having a burning sensation in my right side for two days. The bleeding was on and off and eventually stopped on 25/03 all together. The blood was very light not enough to fill a pad/liner and was mostly when I went to the toilet. It ranged in colour from light brown, dark red, light pink, orange sort of rust colour and dark brown. Since I have had no aches, pains or twinges and no more bleeding.
My first HCG was 81 and in 48hours increased to 91. My third HCG increased from 91 to 138 and my fourth increased from 138 to 196. Very slowly rising. I have had two ultrasounds and my uterus and tubes look clear. I’ve been told I have a Pregnancy of unknown location and I have been offered methotrexate however have been reluctant to take this due to it still being early days.
I have bloods and an ultrasound tomorrow morning and then unfortunately I am going to need to draw the line and take the methotrexate injection. I am stressed up to my eyeballs. I am hoping and praying that they can see the pregnancy tomorrow even the sac! It’s doubtful as my levels are so low but I really am desperate ☹️ This is my last chance before I need the injection and my heart is breaking!
Has anyone experienced a PUL and had success? Or has anyone experienced a PUL that has never been located and taken methotrexate? What can I expect?
