Birthing partner and other visitors

Im 32 weeks and my mum is going to be my birthing partner (I live with her and I'd want her there ) but I'm wondering if other visitors would be allowed (baby's dad). Obviously with Covid I'm not sure and I can't find anything online

You should ring the hospital and ask. It differs by trust so rules can be quite relaxed in some areas and extremely strict in others. Generally atm you are only allowed your birthing partner in the delivery suite then they are sent away, most not allowing other visitors.

It's unlikely but check with your trust. Mine is quite relaxed compared to many (birthing partner allowed to stay from admission to discharge) but we're still only allowed one birthing partner and no visitors.

Birthing partner only

Rules are different per hospital however, I've not seen a hospital yet to offer different visitors.
Only birthing partner.

Phone the hospital or ask your midwife nearer the time. The rules may change in the next 8 weeks. I gave birth in July and was only allowed birthing partner in when I was on the labour ward.

Had a midwife appt today and she told me after giving birth only the main birthing partner is allowed during visiting hours

At my hospital they’re allowing two birthing partners during labour/birth but after only the first birthing partner is allowed for visiting.
