Probable miscarriage

Hi

I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced the same. I am currently 5-6 weeks pregnant and started with a bit of brown discharge on Saturday which then turned pink. I woke up this morning and I'm bleeding brown/red blood. I'd say the bleeding is steady and mixed with some normal discharge.

I have an early pregnancy scan tomorrow at 9 and have prepped myself to hear the worst. Although I already know in my mind it's a miscarriage I'm just looking for others who may have experienced this for support?

I've had this with all 5 of my pregnancies between 4 and 8 weeks.
It's lasted about a week. I had a scan with 2 of them and doctor confirmed it was leftover blood from implantation combined with the foetus burying deeper.

2 of them did end in miscarriage although this wasn't until 10 weeks and wasn't related to the first bleeding.

It's encouraging to know that it is normal in some pregnancies too. It's just an awful waiting game isn't it. I'm just trying to monitor the bleeding atm. I'm not currently experiencing any cramps or pain so at least there's not that.

I kinda ruled implantation out because I heard that that is just a few spots of blood. Mine seems a little more than that. It's mainly brown on my liners and a little more red when I wipe.

I'll just keep everything crossed for tomorrow and if it's bad, I guess you just got to pick yourself up and try again
