I'm just over 36w and for the last week I've been having really bad night sweats, constantly waking up through the night drenched. I can't work out if I've got some kind of bug or is this just normal at this stage of pregnancy?

Same at 36 and now again at 38, changing my pyjamas 2-3 times a night! It’s horrid but I think one of those many weird pregnancy things

I've had this every single night from around 30 weeks.

Now 39 weeks and still going 😂

Roll on the end of his pregnancy then! Thanks for your responses!

I didn't have night sweats during pregnancy, but right after birth, for almost a week. Didn't happen with my 1st, although I developed sepsis and stayed in hospital for a bit this time around, not sure if there's a link. Either way, it was wholly unpleasant!

Totally normal - its hormone related. I'm being woken up EVERY night after 3hrs sleep absolutely drenched in sweat. Its not fun, I feel you!

I'm 34+5 and have had them since about 16 weeks. I thought I was ill but turns out it's another glamorous pregnancy symptom, apparently you get them after you've given birth too.

I have to sleep on a towel now and have to change my pyjamas most nights in the middle of the night.
