11+4 symptoms peaking?

Hi all, I’m 11+4 and will be having my 12 week scan on Thursday when I’ll be exactly 12 weeks according to LMP. I’m really nervous as I’ve had 2 miscarriages and no successful pregnancies yet, and no early scans for this pregnancy. I had bleeding with my losses but with this pregnancy there has been no bleeding yet. I’m on progesterone and aspirin as well as metformin and myo inositol for my PCOS.

Anyway my symptoms really seem to be peaking this week - I’ve had mild nausea, sore boobs, tiredness etc on and off throughout but over the last few days it’s really ramped up! Is this normal? My boobs are super sore, I nearly actually threw up when trying to eat my dinner last night, I’m not keen on any food except cereal and toast and I’m now getting up multiple times a night to pee. Also loads of creamy discharge.

Is this is a good sign? Or does it not really make any difference?

I’m just really nervous about my scan and going a bit crazy 😬 xxx

Also feeling super weak, hungry and nauseous despite just having breakfast and now eating some nuts!

Hiya, I don't think it means anything whether your symptoms start to disappear now or not. I believe for most women they do, but some unlucky souls still get sickness for weeks yet. It definitely isn't a bad sign either way - just a variation on how your body responds and how much HCG each individual baby makes.

I'm 12 weeks on Wednesday (only a day ahead of you!) and my symptoms started easing a few days ago, which was the same time roughly as my last pregnancy (which was healthy). But everyone's different.

Re getting up lots in the night to pee; did you get a urine test at your booking appointment? If all was good, and you have no other UTI symptoms it's probably just that the baby is still squashing your bladder :)

Don't fret about the scan; chances are really good with continuing symptoms and no signs of miscarriage.

I peaked around the same time as you then lost symptoms about 14 weeks then they came back week 15 (now 18 weeks) with a vengeance. I wouldn’t worry to much as they can disappear and getting stronger so quick I used to overthink it all the time but now used to it 😂 fine one second and sick the next xx

Thank you both, yes it’s really difficult to not obsess over every little thing!

I think I am just terrified of miscarrying again. I’m scared that on Thursday they will say there’s no heartbeat or something is wrong 😑 it’s so hard!

@FeistySheep yeah all good with the urine, gave a sample at 8 weeks and haven’t heard anything so I assume no news is good news! I don’t have any pain or anything - just absolutely desperate for the loo about 3 times a night!

Hahaha the joys!
Let us know how your scan goes on Thursday :)

Thank you! I’m supposed to be working but I just can’t focus at all! Aside from feeling tired and weak I just feel so nervous for the scan and can’t stop thinking about it! X

Glad to read that the scan went well. I'm 11+4, my scan's next week, and the nausea isn't getting better at all, and if anything is getting worse, so I found this thread reassuring, thank you!

@MsMoneyPennie glad it’s reassured you! Hope your scan goes well, please keep us updated! Xxx
