Baby movements

I’m 30 weeks pregnant and since yesterday I’ve noticed decrease in baby’s movements. I still feel it moving but it’s not strong kicks like I’ve been feeling for the past few weeks. Should I contact my local maternity hospital and inform them about that? Or the baby just possibly changed it’s position and the kicks are not that noticeable ?

Yes please contact triage or the maternity unit and tell them your worried about decreased movements. Do it asap...

@Theyarealltaken - definitely don’t ignore it. I read threads on here all the time where the poster is so glad they got it checked out x

Contact them anyway.
Is it decreased movements or is baby still moving the same amount just feels different?

Either way contact them but as they get bigger, the kicks get are replaced by rolls and movement over kicks. But should still be moving the same amount

Contact them it's reduced movement not no movement they check for. They're great and won't ever make you feel like you're wasting their time. Guarantee as soon as you ring movements will go back to normal 😉 but please ring!

Hope little one is just having a lazy day... we’ve been in once too. Always worth checking :)

Everything was fine 😌 so good to be reassured ! Let’s hope it won’t happen again so I’m not waiting midwifes time 😅
Btw I heard baby being born in a room next door and it totally freaked me out haha

You aren’t wasting their time, that’s what they get paid for to help mums like you x

Please don't think you're wasting midwives time. They would much rather you go in that sit at home worrying and something actually be wrong
