Movement help !

Just about at my wits end ! I’m 29 weeks pregnant and feel maybe 2/3 movements if I’m lucky a day Midwife’s and scanner think my scar from my last c section has fussed together inside and has caused me to go numb from my belly button and below inside in my womb , as of next week I will go in twice a week to get monitored for my movements but midwife has made it clear that that will only show that the baby’s ok there and then they are at a lose at the moment about what to do Iv felt baby once today this morning ... and if this was my first pregnancy I’d be at the hospital just now getting checked but if I went off what’s been happing I’d honestly be at the hospital every day ? Has anyone had this ? Or any advice ?? Please help me ?

Get a baby movement tracker appand lie down on your side at two or three times a day with your hand on your stomach- you'll still feel movement through your hand. The app will let you push a button every time you feel a movement and it will time how long it takes to get to ten. Do that at the same times of day every day and you'll start to see a pattern emerge. If it takes significantly longer to get to ten movements, then you go in.

Not ideal, but better than nothing.

@FluffiesWuffy Thanks so much for msg asking having a bit of a time of it I will now be seen 3 times a week in hospital during the day to get movement checks I was in the other night at half 2 in the morning cause hadn’t felt anything in 7 hours ! When they checked they could hear baby had hiccups and mid wife said “ it’s just the strangest thing that you can’t feel that and we can hear it she said normally at 30 weeks if baby has hiccups like that we could see your belly move at least so strange” it didn’t make me feel any better ! Iv got a meeting with high risk doctor on Monday to talk about bringing planned c section forward by another week so I have no idea what’s going on but it’s hell !

@HamFisted thanks so much for the suggestion sadly I don’t feel here more than 3 times a day so it would take me about 3/4 days to get to ten movements x

@Babyjune21 you're not trying to feel her through your stomach- lie there and put your hands all over your stomach and you should feel movement through your hands even if your stomach is numb.

I had to do this with mine.

@HamFisted we have tried also the mid wife’s have tried while I’m on monitor when they hear her move on monitor they will sit with me and hold my stomach ... the think scaring tissue is so thick that’s why no one can feel it

Hi, my little girl completely stopped moving at 32 weeks my trust had to admit me and was on a monitor 5 x daily and scans every couple of days until I gave birth at 36 weeks (they were going to induce at 37 weeks).
It was honestly hell! Not feeling baby move, being in hospital for 4 weeks during the first lockdown.
I completely understand what your going through & really sympathise. I can't advise anything but just wanted to say you weren't alone xx

As much as I wish you didn’t have to go threw it it made me feel support ! , I feel like I’m going crazy and sometimes I feel
Like I must be making it because every time I tell a doctor or a new mid wife they all do that head tilt like what are you taking about ! I’m really blessed to have a great mid wife and high risk doctor that totally believe and understand me ! I’m so glad your wee one got her safe and sound I was in today getting another check , and back on Monday for another one , and meeting with my high risk doctor so we will see what they are saying to it then ! But the told me in the mean time day or night just come in if I’m worried witch makes
Me feel less like I’m losing my mind. Xx
