Still nausea at 13 weeks..

I'm 13 weeks on Tuesday and from what feels the moment I got the 2 pink lines I've suffered all day unrelenting nausea. I've been put back on furlough, and it feels like I've spent more time on my bed with Phillip and holly than I have my own family these past 3 months!
I feel sick if I eat, if I don't eat, if I smell anything other than fresh air.. it's really getting me down and I'm sure I'm starting to get a bit depressed.
Is it likely to ease soon do you think?

I started to feel a bit better about 14 weeks but I think it’s different for everyone. I was never sick in the first trimester but have been a couple of times since triggered by random smells.

It must be tough if you’ve not much to take your mind of it. I found wfh to be a bit of a double edged sword. Although definite benefits from not having to travel I felt being forced to put my ‘work face’ and pretend I wasn’t feeling like I could throw up any minute might have been better in terms of how miserable I felt. I’m sure if I’d been in the office I would have said the opposite though 🙂.

I did usually feel a bit better when I was concentrating on something or when I went for walk. Although it’s hard to motivate yourself try and do things to take your mind off it. It will pass eventually, hopefully sooner rather than later.

It’s different for everyone, with my first I was nauseous and sick every day till I went into labour, it was unrelenting, with number 2 it lasted till about 20 weeks. Lots of sympathy, pregnancy nausea is hideous.

Mine lasted until around the 20 week mark in both my pregnancies, although it did ease after about 15/16 weeks I think and wasn’t as constant, then it vanished after 20 weeks. Replaced by chronic heartburn but I could handle that fine in comparison to constant nausea! Sorry you’re feeling so rough, it’s really hard. Hang in there, do whatever u need to help yourself and hopefully it’ll go soon. Have u tried the travel sickness wrist bands? They took the edge off for me

Mine lasted until 16 weeks. First pregnancy. Fingers crossed for you, I was miserable.

I still have occasional nausea at 27 weeks. I did see a significant improvement around 15 weeks though.

Hang in there op.

Plenty of advice from the lovely guys over at the HM support threads, link to. Most recent one above.

Wishing you well, I'm 35 weeks with my third and suffer throughout my pregnancies. I found it eases up to a more manageable level around wk 16 for me, but I have no appetite and strong aversions to all but a handful of foods right through to labour day Flowers
