Breastfeeding while pregnant

Hello.

I'm 6+2 pregnant today and I'm also breastfeeding. In my first pregnancy I had really sore breasts in the first trimester and now this time round I have no pain at all.

I thought that maybe this was due to my boobs being used to breastfeeding but when I googled they should be MORE sore while breastfeeding. So, this has made me a little worried.

Just wondering there are other breastfeeding mothers on here who have had the same experience of no pain second time round and had everything turn out ok!

Here to try and put my mind at ease really!

Thanks xx

Every pregnancy is different.
There is no way they SHOULD be.
So there's no need to worry.

1st pregnancy- boobs agony.
2nd pregnancy- fed up to 7 months. No boob pain at all. Assumed the same as you, that they didn't need to get prepped for feeding. DS born healthy at full term.

I am also pregnant (6 months - everything fine so far) and breastfeeding and haven't had any pain at all. Milk dried up around 16-20 weeks and is now colostrum. I don't remember having much pain first time round either though.

I'm 13+1 weeks pregnant and still feeding my 14 month old at night - most of the time I don't feel any different but very occasionally my poor nipples are very sore and tender when she latches on!

Thank you so much everyone! You've really helped put my mind at ease!! Smile xx

I am only 4 weeks but not feeling any pain really, sometimes at work I feel full and tingly but that could be because they are adjusting to being away from the baby. I feel like the pain was them preparing to make milk the first time.
