Hello all, I had a BFP on Monday, CB digital. I am 5 weeks. I felt a bit rough all week, headaches, exhausted, slight nausea, weeping more, restless legs, early waking - the lot! Last night I had terrible restless legs and felt a bit sick, waking at 5am. However, since then I have zero symptoms. I feel fine. I don't 'feel' pregnant. I'm so worried, I was too scared to do another test! I wish I felt rough... I've had a mc before an I'm 42 so v. nervous. This doesn't bode well does it?

Honestly I'm not sure. I've had a m/c where I gradually lost all symptoms until I started bleeding however in my healthy pregnancies I didn't get strong/consistent symptoms until week 6/7 (I remember quite clearly announcing to my husband in my first pregnancy that I thought I'd escaped morning sickness, only to be hit with it from week 8 to week 20!). So I think it could just be early and maybe hormones are fluctuating. I have everything crossed for you!

Symptoms don't mean anything and are no indication on how your pregnancy is going.
Some people get loads, some people get none.
Some peoples disappear completely and never return.

I've never had symptoms in all 5 of my pregnancies apart from the occasional sore boobs that come and go.
If anything, I had more symptoms in my 2 that ended in miscarriage than I have with my other 3.

Even if you did miscarry, a test will still show up as positive.

@Hufflepuffsunite thank you Smile yes it's such early days, I'm hoping perhaps they come and go. I'm super tired and will go to bed soon - I hope that's a good sign!

@SnooperTrooper12345 you have reminded me that I had zero symptoms years ago when pregnant with DD.

Consistent symptoms don’t tend to kick in before 6 weeks and it’s totally normal for symptoms to come and go. As someone who has had 3 missed miscarriages, I know hard it it can be to deal with when you’re already anxious.

I’m not quite at my 12 weeks scan yet, so not totally in the clear, but about 4 weeks ago, my symptoms went from horrific to non-existent overnight. They have gradually ramped up again and I now feel awful again. Which is obviously reassuring, but I was so worried for a while. Fingers crossed all ok for you.

Thank you. Yes it is such a worrying time when you want it so much. Hard to think about anything else!
