Morning sickness help

Hi everyone.

I'm on my first pregnancy and I'm suffering from morning sickness and it's bad. I'm genuinely scared to eat and I don't know what to do. Over the past couple of weeks it's progressed from feeling sick to not even being able to have solid food in mouth without vomiting. I'm able to sip on juice and water and that's it. I haven't had proper meal for days and it's a two week wait to see my GP. Should I call NHS 111 and see if they can do anything?

I've tried ginger tea, ginger biscuits, sickness bands, sprays, everything. It's affecting my life because I just have no idea to do anything, even work. Does anyone have any advice or any sweet words of encouragement that can help me though this?

Your GP should be able to prescribe you some medication over the phone for it

I was the exact same in the early days, it can be so so horrendous I feel for you!! Mine started to fade away by about 16 weeks, you can ask for anti sickness meds from your GP but they never really helped me if I'm honest with you. The doctors didn't do much its so annoying!!, just try to drink plenty fluids and rest. It will get better eventually🤞 I lost alot of weight at the beginning but I'm sure as hell making up for it now haha can't stop eating at 25 weeks! Hope your okay!!

But yes I would defo contact your midwife or 111 if your worried, only you know how you feel and you'd rather be checked!

Get an urgent appointment with your GP. They can prescribe stuff. It doesn’t always work (it didn’t for me) but lots of people find it does.
