Hi there

I had exactly this in my first pregnancy. It means they’ll monitor you more closely, but I carried to term with no problems. They decided to induce me at 40 weeks, I think just to be safe. Baby was fine, not even small at 7lbs 14oz! He’s now a happy, healthy 18 month old. We’re currently 18 weeks pregnant with his brother or sister and my results this time have all come back normal, so it really is pregnancy dependant. Try not to worry too much, they take extra precautions to monitor you and baby throughout. So until someone tells you otherwise, just enjoy seeing baby in the extra scans Smile Hope that helped x

I had low Papp-a levels and had extra scans and monitoring, all was fine tho and no issues, I got induced 10 days past my due date x

Thank you so much, this is definately reassuring. Did the dr suggest you take low dose aspirin?

Hi!
I had low PAPPa, baby born at 39 weeks 3 days naturally at a healthy 7lb 12oz and on the 50 something centile. Midwife said she could see no issues with my placenta or cord when it came out.
The scanned me every 4 weeks, baby was on the 60-70th centile at all scans bar my 38 week one where he’d dropped to the 50 something. As my last scan was on the 70th the drop was 1 centile more than what they deemed acceptable so they wanted to induce me.
Rightly or wrongly I said no to that as it was so borderline a drop (my midwife at a following checkup said she would have done the same) and he came out naturally a week later. When I said no they did say if he’d dropped more at the planned scan at 40 weeks they’d push more for me to be induced, but I obviously delivered before then.
Apart from the extra scans it made no difference to my pregnancy, I wasn’t told to take aspirin ☺️
