So i need help!!! I am six weeks pregnant and i am suppose to spar tomorrow (for those who don’t know what that is, fight with boxing gloves with another person in a ring) and i read that online that early in pregnancy is risky to do that so I don’t know. Should i spar tomorrow or not? I don’t want to hurt my baby..

I wouldn't, but if you can ensure that there will be no contact with your stomach then I'd say it's fine...?

I played competitive netball to 9 weeks with my son (elbows flying everywhere!) and all was fine, although it was after a particularly rough game that I decided to call it quits! x

Personally I wouldn't. My second pregnancy I had random episodes of bleeding and my baby stopped growing so I had her early and that wasn't down to anything in particular, and I was really careful (pandemic baby so was hiding inside the house for the best part of those 9 months)

I was boxing with my husband in early pregnancy and everything was fine. My instructor said that as long as I wasn't punched in the abdomen (which obviously you shouldn't be sparring) then it would be ok.
I'm now just under 40 weeks and impatiently waiting little one's arrival.
I think the main thing to do is speak to instructor at the gym/boxing club/wherever for advice
