How did you find it?
How did you combat cravings for meat/dairy?
My dp is a meat eater and occasionally I'm overcome with desire to eat some of his food. Luckily he only has meat a couple of times a week and I have resisted as I know I'd be horrified afterwards but worried I'll cave at some point!!

Me! I’m 25 weeks and feeling great. Been so lucky to have had a really easy pregnancy so far (no sickness) and haven’t had any specific cravings. I’ve been taking a vegan prenatal multi-vitamin and trying to eat lots of variety, but finding I’m a lot hungrier than normal so just eat more as and when I feel I need to. My partner is also vegan so that definitely makes things easier. I haven’t craved meat/dairy at all since being vegan (3 years - if anything, I’m more satisfied than ever by the food I eat) but if you’re really craving meat/dairy, I wouldn’t be hard on yourself whilst pregnant. Sometimes it’s really hard to find what you fancy and if that means eating the odd thing that you wouldn’t normally, then that’s ok Smile Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy x

I am vegan and was throughout my pregnancy in 2019, had no issues, my midwife was skeptical that my iron levels would be ok but they were really good actually (midwife was surprised haha). I made sure to eat plenty of beans and lentils, tofu and blended spinach into soups or added it to curries etc. I never once had constipation which seems to be a common pregnancy problem, not even after my c section. I never craved anything really, just ate what and how much I felt like and tried to generally stick to healthy stuff. congratulations and hope it all goes well! Smile

I basically lived on Vego bars and m and s marshmallows as have a massively sweet tooth when pregnant.

If you craving meat how about those nice 'proper' burgers that all the supermarkets do now?
