Heyyyyy guys I just wanted to say I'm around 5 weeks pregnant I know very early but me and my partner are extremely exited. I just wanted to know if anyone has any symptoms at this stage
I keep getting this nagging feeling something will go wrong. As I had a miscarriage 13 months ago .
So keeping everything crossed as I thought this would never happen agains...
So tell me your symptoms, so far I just have sore nipped and occasionally Need the loo a lot but I'm putting that down to the amount of water I'm drinking haha

Congratulations.

Symptoms don't mean anything. I've never had symptoms apart from the occasional sore boobs.

Symptoms can come and go. Some people get loads, some people get none, it's all normal and has no indication on how the pregnancy is going ❤️

@l16bxt hey hun congrats🙏🥳. Had mc after coming off the pill in jan so happy and anxious that I got my bfp at 11 dpo. I'm currently 4wks 3 days. I keep checking down there to make sure I'm not bleeding. 🙈. My symptoms are wetness down there, somewhat just clear. Nauseous, tired, my boos fill full and were tender the other day, funny taste in my mouth. I'm just keeping active. I run for like 20m in the morning and Im eating healthy. I've never had so much veg as I've had from my tww till now lol. What's vits are u taking. R u taking aspirin? Have u booked with mw?

hey lovelies! i'm 5 weeks today too! can i join? i've had sore boobs and nips since bfp but luckily whilst still painful not agonising like before! i have the odd little twinges every now and then and find i'm getting out of breath quicker and drinking tons more water! xx

Hey I’m 5 weeks too ! All I have is sore boobs and frustratingly constipation :,( I see 35 weeks of prune juice in my future x

@Emmab321 lol. Felt the same but in drinking loads if water and fresh orange juice and its helping alot in that dept. Lol. What's vits are u on babe. Anyone taking aspirin?

@Lizbb morning huni so I'm drinking loads more water and taking folic acid with vitamin D . Not taking aspirin thou. I have a mw appointment booked for 16 April :) so nervous
And Iv booked an early reassurance scan for 1st April at half 12. I also keep checkering for wetness down there . And a little constipated grrrr :)

I have those pregnacare vits that seem to cover it all and omega 3 . I only got those yesterday , prior to that I was taking vit d and folic acid . So I’m 5
Weeks today , do I need to call the docs next week and try and get a midwife appt or is it a bit early yet ? X

@Emmab321 same same pregnacare and higher dose of folic. I would book now. I did the self referral on monday and still havent heard anything. They do way allow 10 days tho.

@Lizbb thanks for that ! Do you just ring the gp and a midwife calls you back at some point ? Can you tell I have no idea what I am doing :D ?

@Emmab321 hey hun I live in Bedfordshire not sure of other areas but I just had to fill an application on line and submit. I than wait for a call. Maybe call ur gp and they can explain next steps. Read some gp give numbers to call and book.

@Emmab321 did you manage to get it done. Mw just called so tomorrow I'm gonna have blood taken for test etc..

@Lizbb afternoon lovely sorry works been mental! i'm taking seven seas pregnancy the one that has the folic acid, tons of vits iron etc!
i contacted my doctors when i got my BFP and they sent me a self referral form for my hospital i chose to deliver at, and told me to call back when i was between 6-8 weeks gone! (best believe i'm calling them first thing tuesday when i'm 6weeks lol!) how is everyone getting on?

also but of a dark one, but does anyone have the undying fear that this is all too good to be true? i think i've wanted it for so long now it's happened it feels unreal and i'm terrified of soemthing going wrong!

Also what is everyone's EDD so far? My rough one is Nov24, 9 days before my bday😅xx

@Lizbb I bottled it haha but I’ve found the number so I’ll call them next week :)

@becksy21 my EDD is 25th :D so glad I managed to sneak this in before Christmas !!! I am not letting myself get too excited tho . I’m so scared something is gonna go wrong so me and my boyfriend are keeping relaxed about it for a few months .. well trying.( I am up late into the night thinking about baby names :D)

@becksy21 hey hun bless. Yea defo call them on tues. I'm 4 wks 5 day and I was called by my mw to come in tomorrow to book and run some blood test. I'm taking pregnacare. High folic and aspirin. Might need to take iron as I'm anemic but will find out after test. Yea I no what u mean I keep checking below to make sure I'm not bleeding but its cm. I'm happy but anxious. My bday nov 15 and baby due nov 29. Let's tray not to stress as it releases the wrong hormone we need. 🙏🙏

Hi guys. Am 5 wks today 🥳. God is great. Easy days and praying all goes well for us 🙏. Booked to have scan at 12 am but may book a private one at 8 wk. @Emmab321 symptoms for me are slight cramp and twinges, been horny since this morning lol. Nauseous here and there and the main one tired, I feel more bloated and full than hungry lol

morning lovelies! been checking this thread all weekend for updates lol! i found an old cb digi so peed on it when i had to force a wee out and it came back 3+ so that's positive (literally lol)

i keep getting little twinges and dull aches that feel like gentle period aches that fade after about 5/10 mins. not painful just annoying lol! spoke to my MIL who said it's likely due to the uterus expanding! fun!

every little twinge or ache i'm bloody running to google which i know i shouldn't worry!!

i'm very tempted to get a priv scan at 8 weeks but then i feel like i'm impatient? i just wanna know if it's viable and if i have multiples!

I really don’t want to wake up starving .. I have heard of people putting on 3-4 stone in pregnancy and I already have 2 to lose !! I’m trying to be super careful and lose a bit over the next month or two ... I think no wine will probs sort that out anyway :D

@l16bxt sorry you feel so sick !! Luckily I haven’t had any sickness yet but I’m sure it will arrive at some point!

@Lizbb I feel hungry and a bit bloated !! There is just so much going on inside :D

Is anyone still testing ? I’m taking one every few days - I’m super paranoid they are going to start getting fainter ... maybe it’s time to stop

@becksy21 morning :) yeah from the millions of articles threads I have read about symptoms the twinges are normal . I only get them on one side tho ... I’m not sure if that’s normal but I don’t have pain / bleeding so I’m not worrying to much about it.

I think I’ll book a scan for 8 weeks . It sounds like getting one early can lead to more confusion if there’s nothing to see yet !

@Emmab321 yeah that's the main thing i think if i'm not bleeding and not in pain i'm ok!

i've got my booking appointment on April 15th and then i think within the week. after that i get sent my appointment for my 12wk scan. just want it here already! i'm constantly stressing that baby's not going to be okay or we won't hear a heartbeat. terrifying but exciting?!!!

Hey guys question. So I know I should stop testing 🙈 but cant help it. Has this happen to anyone else. I use the same wilkos stick to test with my first urine at around 8am but when I test again around 10am it more darker. 🤔. Defo gonna stop testing before I drive myself mad lol

@becksy21is your booking appointment in person or over the phone ?

Yes I am terrified too . I have so many concerns .I’m currently freaking out about the blood test at the first appt ( I know it’s pathetic but I pass out when I have my bloods done ) . I am also scared of getting piles - my bowels have been sluggish since day 1 :(

And that’s before I even get to the baby/labour worries !!

I did a calculator that showed at 5+3 , I am 14% of the way through pregnancy .... I think it is going to feel like a very long year !!
