Looking for some advice please!
I’m currently 39+3 with my second baby. I went into hospital Sunday evening for abdominal pain/cramps and the midwife said I’m in early labour. Since then I’ve been having what I feel is contractions throughout the day but no sequence to them. I’ve lost my mucus plug and been having increased and very uncomfortable pelvic pressure when the baby moves. I’ve phoned my labour ward looking for advice and they said to just hang tight until my contractions are closer and stronger and don’t go away or if my waters breaks. But this is becoming unbearable now 😬

If it’s getting unbearable, go in but prepare to be sent home if you’re not dilated far yet. (Midwives don’t tell you this but some people’s contractions never become regular!)

Have you tried getting in the bath? I done this and my waters broke in the bath and then they called me in to check they had, because I was in the bath it was hard to tell!
The warm water really helps. I hired a TENS machine for early labour at home too.
Good luck
