@Laura199214 Hey love, sorry to hear you're struggling.
I had a missed miscarriage at the end of November, my first pregnancy.
I did have diarrhoea in the final week before it was discovered, but I don't think it was related - I'm about 95% sure it was a combination of stress (my dad had just died) and a new vitamin playing havoc with my guts. The doctors also didn't think it was related. I had also been constipated the whole time, but I still had morning sickness, in fact it was worse. All my symptoms stuck around. I was 8+5 and should have been 9+1.
So far not very reassuring? Stay with me!
Skip to now. I am 11+2 and this week a lot of my symptoms have dropped out including, importantly, my constipation, and as a knock on effect my bloating has also lessened dramatically. I was sure I was getting a bump too, but I think it was mainly bloat! Also, I think being able to go to the toilet has really eased my nausea because I'm not so 'full' and gross, if you see what I mean. As another poster said, the placenta kicks in around now, and that can result in the easing of symptoms.
Do I know my baby is fine this time? Nope. My scan isn't til 13+1(!!!) but I'm choosing to believe that I am pregnant until proven otherwise, and learn to cope with the uncertainty of it all, because nothing will ever be certain. You'll get to the 12 week scan, and then there'll be some relief, and then more anxiety, same at the 20 week, then the birth, and then wow, they're outside and you're still scared. So for your own sake, try to self-soothe and hunker down for now. That's what I'm doing at least.
If an early scan will help you, go for it. Personally I'd just freak out again between the private and the 12 week scan so I'm just telling myself to keep waiting.
I know how it is to be shit scared, to really want your baby to be ok. I really feel for you. But your scan is only one more week, and then you'll know. Remember that the chances are in your favour. Most pregnancies result in a healthy baby.
Anyway, sending you support, let me know if you need anything.
