I had a private scan yesterday to find out my babies gender and the woman pressed down on my stomach harder than they normally do whenever I've gone to the hospital they've never pressed down this much.
Today I've had what feels like stretching pain and pain where she pressed down, it could be related to the scan but when I googled it it's saying it's common to have lower pain in the second trimester, it's not a unbearable pain but a little uncomfortable.
Can you give me your advice or if you had this pain

Thank you 🥰

If the pain persists for more than a few days speak to your midwife.

I had a private well-being and gender scan at 16+4 and had no pain or discomfort after it.

I had a private scan at 10 weeks and one at 17 weeks and I had cramps afterwards on and off for about 24 hours but it was just from where she pressed down so hard.

I did a post on here at the time and a lot of people said they had had the same.

How far along are you? With my first I found I had horrid pulling sensations at 16 ish weeks which appeared to be quite normal as its your uterus breaking free from the pelvic area.

I'm 16 weeks and 4 days

The pulling pains ect sound very normal.

Don't worry about them pressing hard, it won't hurt baby.
I had one guy press so hard, I ended up with bruises! He was a d**k of a sonographer but still 😂
