Hello

Not sure why I'm posting this as no-one can really tell me what's going on inside my body but I woke up this morning to spotting when I wipe. It continued for a couple of hours so I took myself off to A&E (midwifes advice) to be checked out.

I don't have any answers as EPAU wouldn't assess me as Ive already had a private scan to confirm dates and they said its not ectopic. I was sent home and told to rest.
It could be stress induced or I could be down to physical exertion. (No chance)
Apparently I am to go back if it worsens.

12week scan isn't until mid April, I'm on the verge of paying for another private scan for reassurance but can't help thinking I'm being ridiculous.

Anyway thanks for reading. It feels better to put this in to writing strangely. Xx

Sorry, no idea why my post has absolutely no paragraphs. It wasn't typed out like that!!

I had this at 12 weeks lots of bright red fresh blood. I panicked and no EPU and no one would see me so paid privately. Luckily everything was fine but 100% I'd put for another scan if you want reassurance and you can afford it.

They don't know why I bled. They said it could just be one of those things.

You could have implantation bleeding but I really do hope things are okay for you.

Pay* not put.

Thankyou for your reply. I think I may go ahead and book another private scan. They are going to think I'm crazy haha!
I'm glad everything turned out ok for you xx

What colour is the spotting? Has it got worse?
Fingers crossed for you.

I've had spotting in all 5 of my pregnancies all before 10 weeks. Sometimes there isn't an explanation.
Hopefully you get some answers ❤️

Thankyou for the reply, the spotting was bright red fresh blood but its stopped now thankfully.

You have reassured me, I'm so glad your 5 were all OK.
I have booked the private scan, I keep telling myself there's women there every week for reassurance so two visits isn't excessive. 🤣

Sorry do you mean 3 out of 5 pregnancies were ok but not due to the bleeding?

Yes. I had bleeding between 4 and 7 weeks with all of them but 2 of them I lost at 10/11 weeks.
The spotting had stopped by then though, it wasn't related to miscarrying
