33 weeks and sharp pains down below

I'm 32+6 weeks and keep having sharp pains and a lot down below in the fanjo!

I've read up about lightning crotch and I know as I grow bigger I generally get more aches and pains.

I have also had increased discharge. But I did have thrush a few weeks back so could be that making a reappearance.

Is this something to worry about? Or quite normal in the third trimester?

Unless you're getting regular contractions, very unlikely to be any cause for concern.

But if they worry you, call triage/midwives to advise in your exact circumstances.

It sounds normal but as PP said, if you're worried, call triage

It could be lightning crotch or could be the baby's head engaging if it hasn't done so already. I'm 31 weeks and was having similar pain a few days ago and less movements, we went to the hospital and when they did a scan seen that he has moved head down which he hadn't been until that point and said that could explain the pressure feeling aswell as the sharpness.

As above though, if you're worried, better to be safe than sorry and get checked out x
