Hi everyone, I'm new here.
I am currently on the pill and have been since a young teen (21 years old now)
I have currently missed my period about a week ago, I took 4 pregnancy tests yesterday.
3 have come back with a faint positive line, and the last one came back negative.
Not sure if that means I'm pregnant or not, but If I am I think its early days as it's not showing up with a dark line yet.
I dont want to book into doctors yet and waste peoples time if I'm not.
Help please! Thank you.
I also have a photo of the tests but not sure how to post a picture.

A second line means its positive - if you have three tests showing the same then I'd be inclined to trust that. Retest again in a day or two and see if the line is darker.

@queenatom thank you, do you have any idea how I add a photo of the tests to the thread?

You should be able to add them using the paperclip symbol next to the Preview button.

You have to be a member for 48 hours before you can add photos.

If you've had positives, a positive is a positive. Regardless.

No need to rush to the doctors though as most (from experience) don't ask you to contact them until around 6 weeks at least as you won't hear from midwife until between 8 and 10 weeks

Did another test this morning and the line seems darker to me? It showed up right away. The photo with the 3 tests were from 3 days ago, and the other photo was this morning

It depends on if this pregnancy would be welcome news or not. If welcome and you want to continue then you don’t need to go to dr or book direct with your hospital for a few weeks yet. If you might not want to continue the pregnancy the earlier the more options you have. Hth. If you’ve had multiple tests say positive then you’re pregnant. We’re they all the same brand? As some tests less sensitive so you might not get a positive on a less sensitive test as early as you would on a more sensitive test.

Definitely look like strong positives. Is this good news or not?

Mylittlesandwich · 25/03/2021 16:14

Those are definitely positive.

StillMedusa · 25/03/2021 16:34

Very positive.

Becks2000 · 25/03/2021 16:38

Thank you everyone. Yes it is a welcomed pregnancy, it is a lot sooner than what we planned but me and my partner have been together 3 years and have haf multiple conversations about if it happens. Just didnt realise it may be this soon!! 🙈
Yes I've used multiple different tests, 3 different brands and they all showed faint lines untill today.

Those are all positive, congratulations.

I personally test weekly until I hit 6wk by lmp before referring to the midwife team (history of chemical pregnancies). Our trust is self referral via the hospital website so have a look on the site of the hospital you would like to deliver at (or Google it). If they don't do that just as the GP.
Good luck with the pregnancy.

Caaarrrl · 25/03/2021 20:44

Well many congratulations then!

Becks2000 · 25/03/2021 22:12

Thank you so much to everyone who's helped ❤
