are mild crams 8 weeks normal??

i had some usual period like cramps at the start and then i had my 6 week scan and after that they disappeared, today i'm 8 weeks and they've come back almost down the sides and round the bottom? is it normal? can't remember if i had it with my first 🤣 TIA x

Yeah it’s probably just your ligaments stretching...BUT if you’re really worried, call your midwife.

I had on and off mild cramps pretty much all through the first and most of the second trimester, just the uterus expanding and muscles stretching. If they become more noticeable or you feel worried just give your midwife a call Smile

@Fleetw00d thank you everyone i think they've gone down a lot more since i've drank a bottle of water!! think i remember with my son if i didn't drink a lot, i would get cramps! i'll keep an eye on them x

Mild and even moderate cramps were normal for me. Congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome back to the 40 weeks or stress and worry at every twinge.
