Covid Work advice 28 weeks onwards

A friend has just been told she is due to go back to the office in April when she will be 24 weeks pregnant. There is a rota and not all staff will attend at the same time but she will come into contact with other staff members working in the same room/office. Can anyone explain the Covid advice from 28 weeks onwards in simple terms?

Currently, the advice is that from 28 weeks, you should be either be made to work from home or they need to find you a role where you aren't in contact with people/many people.

However, as she won't be 28 weeks for another 4 weeks, this all plans to change soon so probably won't be relevant and it'll be the usual risk assessment

As long as you can socially distance, you can still physically go into work after 28 weeks. Advice is to wfh where possible otherwise. I finish in 5 weeks, I’m still in work as I can’t wfh but my role has had to change slightly.
