I have a private scan booked in this evening for a 16 week reassurance/gender (if baby in right position) I'm so worried something is going to be wrong! I haven't had anything to suggest something is wrong but I still can't stop that worry! Has anyone else had this feeling/ anxiety? Confused

Constantly, I think there are many who have the same anxiety.
This baby follows 2 mc's and a few chemicals so I worry a lot. We went for a private scan at 16+4 and saw that she was doing well, excitement overtook the anxiety for a while. Now I'm back to worry again because her movements are easily missed, I have my anomaly scan next weeks so hoping that will ease the worry again. Will be so much better when she's bigger and I can feel a lot more movement.

Definitely. I had a 16 week scan for reassurance too as you’re in that weird limbo of not being able to feel them yet so you don’t have a way of knowing they’re okay. I’m 19 weeks now and the anxiety is creeping in again!

It's so scary isn't it! It's my first so I have no idea what I'm looking for in terms of movement but I've read a lot that people don't feel movement until a lot later, I will be the same when I'm near my 20 week scan I know it!

The movement scares me so much because I don't know what I'm feeling for but a lot of people have said that they don't feel until later - doesn't stop the worrying though!
