Pregnancy bleeding 6. Weeks

Hi

Since my post earlier about having some brown light spotting I had a gush earlier and it was red bright blood. It was a fair amount but no clots and since then has just been brown spotting again. I'm 6 weeks today.
I was quite sick yesterday and today haven't felt as sick 😢 do you think this sounds like I'm miscarrying? I phoned 111 who told me to phone EPU tomorrow for a scan.

I’m sure it’s nothing to panic about, it depends on what a gush is really. I know you will be worrying like mad until the morning.

I’m 6 weeks tomorrow & had a miscarriage 2 years ago & all I can say from that is that there was a lot more bleeding but then I was further gone. Just try to stay positive & put a pad in so you can keep track of any bleeding. I’ll be keeping everything crossed for you x

I had something similar at 7 weeks- spotting for a week followed by a gush of red blood with no pain, followed by spotting. I called 111 who said no pain is a reassuring sign and went to a private scan the next day. Saw little baby measuring a week ahead and with a strong heartbeat! Was told I had small a subchoronic hematoma (basically a tear in the womb where baby implanted and came away before reimplanting) and that it would heal on its own. That was a few weeks ago and my spotting has completely stopped! Hoping the outcome is as positive for you. My sonographer said ‘bleeding isn’t normal but it definitely is common’.

@zaraa123 hey how are you getting on now? I'm 5 weeks a 4 days today (dates are as accurate as I can get them as I done OPKs). I'm just looking for some reassurance. Feeling very cramps today with a very slight headache. Have an early scan booked in for when I'm 7weeks a 4 days.
