Hi everyone. Just wondering about sizing of maternity clothes. Pre pregnancy I was a size 10/12, the dreaded inbetween sizes!. I’m looking online for clothes as we can’t get in store to try on. Would you reccomend ordering size 12s? Iv got slim shoulders but big bust and butt, (and now belly 😂) x

Buy your usual size, maybe the 12 just so it's a bit more roomy.
I am/was a 14-16 and my mum keeps buying me size 18 maternity for some reason and it hangs off me

I was an 8/10 pre-pregnancy and I've just bought maternity clothes in a 10, and it's doing me fine at 33 weeks so far with room to go, but I spend all my time in comfy clothes at the moment. I had planned on buying more maternity wear later in pregnancy so I only got 3 pairs of maternity leggings and a few non-maternity size 10 t-shirts, but I've been fine.

I've just got a size 10 maternity/nursing dress as I'm interviewing for my replacement soon and my formal workwear doesn't fit any more! So I would say be aware if you need more structured work clothes then you may need to look into sizing up further down the line, but if you're WFH then comfort all the way!

You buy your usual size but if your a 10-12 it makes sense to buy a 12

Well Iv ordered them in a 12. Half of them have arrived but I can’t help they feel really frumpy. Abs quite big on the shoulders/bust area. Not sure if they will look better when I have a bigger bump or to send them back x

I'm the same and I usually order a 10 and a 12 and then try both on and send one back. Lots of retailers let you pay using Klarna (asos, new look etc) so you can try it on and return before paying Smile
