First trimester, symptoms just kicked in

Hi all currently 6 weeks pregnant and my symptoms started literally yesterday.

I've never felt so rough in all my life.. like I've got the worst hangover ever. Barely sleeping coz of tummy ache, needing to go to the loo (bowel movement) and feeling sick and hungry but the thought of most food makes me wanna vomit.

Just want to know if there's a light at the end of the tunnel Sad

Hang in there-it will get better. Things got better for me at 14 weeks, I still had symptoms but they became more manageable. The early weeks can be tough.

I was like that from week 5 to week 15. Honestly couldn’t go through it again. Second trimester I felt like a new women, now 34 weeks and feel every bit as bad. Hang in there as it does get better.

Glad to hear it gets better but this is so hard, especially knowing I've probably got a few more weeks of it!

Jumping on this thread 🙈 I'm 7+4 at the moment and my symptoms hit me like a slap in the face just before 6 weeks. I'm now off work my 'morning' - all day - sickness is so bad most days 😂🤦🏻‍♀️🤢 on the plus side we had a 6/7w scan during the week and we saw baby's little heartbeat which makes it all worth it but I can honestly I'm miserable with it and knowing it'll probably go on for a few weeks makes it worse 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ to add to that...does anyone else feel like the wait to our 12w scans is the longest wait ever?! Maybe I'm just super impatient lol

I was starting to think am I actually pregnant after getting our positive result, as I just felt completely normal! Now I now little one is definitely there and they're kicking my bum atm.

Everyone's telling me to try snack through the nausea, but that's easier said than done when the thought of any food makes me feel sick!

There is light at the end of the tunnel! Though my nausea didn't go until 16 weeks I'm afraid.

@firsttimer112 yeah tell me about it! Try stock up on ice lollies because that at least is an easier way to get sugar and fluids in! It's the only thing that works for me at the moment since I can barely stomach food 🤢

Good idea I'll try that! Currently nibbling on breadsticks and ginger biscuits, can't wait to get my appetite back 😩
