Booked a scan for 6+1... am I going to regret it?

I know it's very hit and miss as to what can be seen at 6 weeks, but after a mmc last year that wasn't discovered until 11 weeks and the pregnancy had actually stopped at 4/5 weeks, with no signs whatsoever, it's fair to say my anxiety is pretty high right now!
I just want to know everything is looking like it should before going through the booking in process again.

I had a mmc recently and had first scan at 6w5d by my own dates. It has been really shit having to wait weeks and week for rescans etc. for it to be absolutely confirmed but I said to my partner I would do another early scan again, because I couldn't have coped with going along to a 12 weeks scan and finding out after thinking everything was fine for so long.
I totally get why you've booked one- I would probably book in for 7 weeks exactly next time round to try and avoid the limbo if things aren't showing as they should.
I hope this scan goes well and your pregnancy goes well x

I actually managed to get them to change the appointment for when I'll hopefully be around 8 weeks, thanks to you guys for talking sense into me! Fingers crossed it's good news by then 🙈 only 2 weeks to try and take my mind off it!
