HcG levels tripling

Hello I am 4+5 so very early but been having my hcg levels monitored the last week as history of early MCs. Doctor is saying my levels are tripling every 48hours which is great. I am anxious as I have googled and seen tripling levels can be a sign of molar or downs. Why do I do this to myself?? Can anyone share any similar experiences? Thanks so much ladies xxx🙏🙏🙏🌈🌈🌈

Hi! I landed in the EPU with my current pregnancy due to spotting and pain, and had 2 HCG draws done. One on 13 dpo and one on 15 dpo, and my HCG almost quadrupled. I'm 32 weeks now and NT scan and 20 week scan were just fine- sometimes we just produce a lot of HCG!

These lil babies sure do enjoy freaking us out don't they Smile

Aw don't they just!!! Thanks so much for replying- it's great to hear others having same answers all being ok 🤞🤞
I'm finding it a very stressful time as have had so many losses trying for our second and now even though getting good hcg levels with this pregnancy I am so paranoid something will happen. Hope the last few weeks go well and quick for you! xxxx

You're welcome Smile

I'm so sorry you've had losses, I've been there too and it's horrible, I seem to have a pattern of live birth, loss, live birth, loss, it makes for a very nerve wracking time! I'm aware I'm lucky to have my three children out of the 7 pregnancies- I'd say 4 but until this baby is in my arms I cannot make assumptions, but so far so good.

Thank you, I kind of hope it goes fast too, just because getting comfy sleep is becoming impossible, but I also super enjoy being pregnant so I don't mind if it drags a bit Smile it's also pretty interesting being team yellow, I've never had the surprise before!

Sorry to hear about your losses- pray to goodness your wee one arrives safe in your arms. What made you not find out the gender this time? Not sure my daughter could cope not knowing as will be a huge transition for her having been an only child her entire life. Such an exciting time ahead for you!!! Xx
