Did anyone who had an induction due to overdue baby then have labour come on naturally in your next pregnancy?
I want more children but I really hope I never have to be induced again.

I can't answer your specific question as I'm only 12 weeks with number 2 however my first was born via induction drip and it was hell for multiple reasons. I had a meeting with a consultant as part of my birth afterthoughts and asked what would happen if I needed to be induced again and I refused. They said they would give me a section but the likelihood is number 2 would be quite different. I am having a meeting with a consultant soon to discuss birth options. In short, you will have options. Hope that helps x

My first was induced following hindwaters breaking and no progression. Second was a perfect homebirth in water, albeit 11 days overdue! She still faffs now... Grin

I’ve decided when I am pregnant with number 2 I am going to make sure every question I have about my first birth experience gets answered cos I’m not super happy with my aftercare and I still have a lot of unanswered questions. But I really really hope next baby comes on it’s own.

I have three children, two induced and one natural (very much so - so fast, no pain relief, born20 minute of service hospital)

1tst - preeclampsia
2nd - overdue

I actually was worried with third and if I could, would have asked to be induced as didn’t want a mad dash to hospital
