I'm 7+3 and my boobs are SO sore and noticeably bigger/fuller, and have been since I got my BFP.
My question is, will they continue to get bigger throughout pregnancy? I'm usually 36E anyway so I'm just curious how big they're going to actually get 🙈.

Yes they will but the soreness will calm down in your second trimester.

One thing I am wondering is about changes to nipple area- I seem to be getting some darker patches around my nipple, where the pores are and then there is one a larger darker patch underneath that’s around a cm big - looks almost like dry skin... is this normal? 😕

Doesn't sound typical. Maybe mention it to your GP.

They'll get bigger and then again when your milk comes in.

I'm a DD and wore the same bras throughout most of my previous pregnancy. They were fuller but not necessarily bigger. However 3 days post partum I woke up with what felt like someone else's massive, rock hard boobs.

PippityChippity · 18/03/2021 12:54

I’m 10+5 with 30G boobs and mine have definitely gotten much fuller! I’m still in my normal bras though. They are tender though and my nipples have become hugely sensitive to touch. Nipples are also starting to darken more now too.

I think they continue to feel fuller but don’t actually grow until your milk starts to come in? I could be wrong though - FTM to be so am not 100% sure. I bloody hope mine don’t grow that much more though! Bras already cost a small fortune!

Inmypjsagain · 18/03/2021 12:58

Each person is different but mine keep growing! I started off a 32G cup, went to GG and now the H is too small! I’m 19 weeks, I’m hoping there isn’t a growth spurt again as it’s going to cost so much, anything beyond an E cup I find bras so much more expensive!

lockdownbabyx · 18/03/2021 13:01

Thank you all, it seems everyone is different doesn't it? I really hope mine don't get any bigger, I've never liked having big boobs anyway, although I don't mind the fullness. DP is loving them though 😂. I know they will be get bigger and go rock hard PP, was just curious if they would get bigger during my pregnancy but I guess I will just have to wait and see 🤦🏻‍♀️ x

You won't like to here this OP but on my first pregnancy I started out a 30FF/G and after I delivered was a 32 JJ. Possibly more, that's my memory of the first bra I could get to fit me but it was genuinely incredibly difficult to figure out sizes when my milk came in, or to find anything that would close. I'm newly pregnant again and already trying to figure out what to do about my boobs. For. me - and I do think this is unusual- they were uncomfortable the whole way through pregnancy, only getting worse. It was the worst thing about pregnancy for me. I couldn't tolerate bras after about noon, I tried SO many different kinds. And not wearing one in the workplace at that size, in summer, wasn't really an option either. They kept getting bigger but not consistently - maybe a cup size a trimester? But my band size went up too, mostly I think I just couldn't tolerate things digging in.

I 'settled' (my daughter is two and I fed till a few months ago but my boobs went down about a year before I stopped and I saw no change when I did) at 32 GG/H and I think that may just be where I end up, though we'll see what this pregnancy does.

I'd love recommendations for bralettes for big cup sizes, esp with v stretchy bands. Not being able to go into shops to try them on I fear may become v uncomfortable.

Luckyelephant1 · 18/03/2021 13:17

So I'm 23 weeks and my small boob size has not changed at all although they do feel fuller. I never got any soreness whatsoever. However my nipples are bigger and areola darker and more prominent and my boobs are very veiny, it almost looks like bruising in some areas 😳. I actually do want my boobs to grow a bit because when I take bump photos it does look a bit strange that I am practically still flat chested!

Grognonne · 18/03/2021 13:25

@Luckyelephant1 - same, am now 32wks and nothing! Slightly darker nipples, but that’s about it - was a bit disappointed!!

lockdownbabyx · 18/03/2021 13:56

@namechangemarch21 thank you for your honesty haha. I am expecting them to get a lot bigger to be honest, they are so sore and like someone else said sort of look bruised in some areas. I already can't wear wired bras anymore as they're too uncomfortable. Even if I slightly brush against them they hurt. So far this is my only pregnancy symptom though so I'm grateful for the soreness right now as it reassures me lol. I'm yet to buy any new bras but I've read M&S do supportive and comfy maternity bras.

My cup size didn’t change much, but my band size went up. I was normally a 30FF/GG before pregnancy and by the end I was in a 36, and I think HH. My band size changed down again fairly quickly afterwards (I lost weight scarily fast) but my cup size is still bigger than normal - I breastfeed & baby is 7mo.

BlueberryPancake21 · 18/03/2021 14:52

I think everyone's different. I was really worried in 1st trimester because my boobs didn't change at all and weren't sore (D cup usually). The left boob started to grow when I hit about 28 weeks but it has left it's sister boob behind and I look really lopsided - always a good look! Intrigued to see what happens when LO arrives.

Noodles4Me · 18/03/2021 14:59

So glad others have said this! Mine keep growing too, they are mad. I'm scared how big they will end up! Blush

Fawn68 · 21/03/2021 15:06

How do all your boobs feel? Mines are bigger but also feel lumpier when pushing them in is anyone else the same?

LayingLow · 21/03/2021 22:45

My boobs never hurt in any of my pregnancies im now 31+1 with baby number 4.. they never grew either still unfortunately a B cup! Haha the only time they got big and full is when my milk came in after birth but once I stopped breast feeding the milk dried up and I was back to my B cup
