Hi guys, would have added this to the January thread but my computer didn't seem to like the idea of doing that - I'm not having a good day.
I'm due in January and ended up having to rush to hospital this morning as I'd been experiencing period type cramps and slight bleeding. Needless to say it scared both myself and dh witless. Got hooked to one of those monitors and baby seems to be doing ok, was diagnosed with a simple case of Thrush that had caused the walls of my uterus to become inflamed and bleed. Everyone at hospital was lovely but i guess it just really shook me up. Now I'm worried every time I go to the loo or have a slight twinge. Has anyone out there had a similar experience? Is it anything to worry about? Not sure what I expect you guys to do or say but it helps to just splurge in an email!

Kookie - you poor thing, that must have been really upsetting. They did find a simple reason for it though and if they are not worried (and if they were, they would be making sure, believe me) then please feel reassured. I had bleeding early on and absolutely understand how on edge you are at the moment.

Your pregnancy is well established though, so please feel confident in yourself and your baby. As much as we worry, they are sturdy little fellows and everything will be ok. Hope it feels better soon. You have probably had a bit of a shock. Please be nice to yourself (feet up, chocolate, anything you want!) and hope you feel better soon.

Sorry to hear this Kookie. I have no experience of this but know how anything out of the ordinary is scary when you are pregnant. I am sure if the hospital staff said there was nothing to worry about, then you are safe. Try and hold on to that thought. I am sure someone else will come on in a minute who is more experienced than I am. Good luck.

Poor you, we all worry anyway but to go through that must have been horrible. Glad they found a reason and everything seems to be ok. Like beansprout said put your feet up and spoil yourself you deserve it!
