Hi everyone. I've been trying so hard not to get too excited as I'm only 6 weeks pregnant and I've had a mc so I'm a little concerned about this pregnancy. however I'm finding it really hard not to buy clothes, or look at wallpapers for babys bedroom. it's something me and my husband have wanted a baby for so long that this just feels too good to be true. just wanted a little bit of a rant because it's so frustrating.

You can still get excited, try not to let your previous miscarriage take the joy from this pregnancy.
I had a misscarriage last time and I'm now 30 weeks...maybe not buy loads yet but as soon as I got positive I bought a babygrow. Couldnt help myself.

Let yourself get past the first scan before getting big things but theres no harm at all in planning, adding to wishlist etc, chances are everything will go smoothly

Baby’s bedroom? They won’t be in there for at least 6 months after they’ve been born....plenty of time!

I'm definitely more of a positive person so if you want to go buy things then go for it. Plan a nursery etc I agree with earlier poster that try not to let a previous mc take the joy away for you. My only advice would be there's no rush so maybe have a good plan and browse before any big purchases :)

No harm in planning and enjoying this pregnancy, if u want to maybe buy one small thing that gives u joy then wait until after ur scans ur other bits, but use this time to make wish lists, research all the different bits you would like and find shops that tend to have deals on, time will soon fly then you can work from your list and buy things when u seen them on offer ( great way to save pennies and spread the cost)
