Hi, had my 35 week midwife appointment today this is my second baby. In my notes the midwife has written the word "brim" , normally it says "free"
Does anyone know if this means baby is engaged/nearly engaged?
She said the baby was low but I didn't ask at the time exactly how low.

Yes, it means that baby’s head is at the brim of your pelvis, preparing to engage.

My baby has also just moved from "NE" (assume means "not engaged") to "brim" so glad I read this! Honestly though he's been chilling out down there pretty low forever - he seems to be really low in the evening and then climb back out during the night and my lungs are really squashed first thing in the morning. I actually don't think anything has changed - I just had my appointment later in the day this time!

They are so unpredictable arnt they @blueberrypancake
How many weeks are you? My first.came naturally at 37 weeks so I'm hoping this one will come a little early too, the midwife said today she doesn't think I'll go past.my due date but I don't know how she would know that!

I'm well into my 37th wk already and preparing for a late baby. No real signs of anything. I've had strong regular Braxton Hicks since 17 wks so that's no indication. I keep hoping I'll get some kind of nesting instinct and joyfully blitz the house but it seems unlikely!
