All evening I've been having the most awful pain in my upper stomach, some waves of pain are so bad I have to breath through and close my eyes. Wondering if trapped win is more common in pregnancy and if anybody has any tips on relieving the pain? (Baby is moving lots btw!)

My midwife told me that a sudden and bad pain in the upper stomach can be a sign of pre-eclampsia, if I were you I'd call them and see what their advice is.

I've had trapped wind and it does tend to be pretty low down in my experience.

If you are worried about bothering your midwife remember that they'd rather have a thousand false alarms than 1 instance of someone not contacting them that ends badly.
