Hi all,

I'm a big girl, size 20 and 5'11 and this is my second pregnancy 😊
My first pregnancy I was a size 16 and popped around 15weeks.

Will I get a bump this time round or will my fat hide it? Any experiences? 😊

On my first I had a noticeable bump at 18-20 weeks. On my second I lost so much weight with gestational diabetes when I announced I was going on mat leave to my students the next day no one knew I was pregnant! But I still had a very defined bump.

Yes you will.

I was a 22 when I got pregnant and had a definite bump by 20 weeks, by full term I was the most pregnant person who ever lived, my bump was huge and very obvious.

I never got a bump... the day before I was induced someone at the gym asked me if I was definitely pregnant & if so when was I due - then looked very shocked. I lost weight whilst pregnant and just looked like I’d eaten a lot as the pregnancy filled up the weight is actually lost!
I wore my normal closes until about the last 3 weeks!

I'm 5ft 8, was a size 18/20 when I fell pregnant with our twins. I had a defined bump by 17 weeks and it was massive by the end. Current pregnancy I started out a size 16, I think I look more like I've eaten too many pies than pregnant atm. I have had people say I'm showing though, 18wk now. My other singletons I started go have a defined bump by 20wk. I always carry high to start with then it spreads as they get big, had some whoppers lol.

Only the one baby so far. I was a size 20, and I'm a short arse at only 5'4". I just looked fat(ter) until I hit the third trimester. Then there was no mistaking it. I was huge.

I was a size 20/22 with my first and carry my weight on my stomach mainly. I didn't get a viable bump until around 30 weeks and not until 36ish weeks did other people realise I was pregnant

I was a size 18 pre pregnancy and courtesy of lockdown haven't need to buy many maternity clothes as I have pretty much lived in leggings and stretchy long sleeved tops.

I've always had a little bit of a tummy and towards the 20wk mark got a bit more rounded but still wasn't that obvious even up to 37 weeks.

Neighbours were v.shocked when we arrived home with baby in car seat last Sunday!

I'm at size 24 & have had a definite bump since 25 weeks. I'm 34+5 now & there's no way it's not obvious.

Thanks for asking this @Fireplacedreame, I’m a size 20 and my first pregnancy I didn’t seem to have a noticeable bump till the last few months it really got me down, although I did find that certain clothes definitely accentuated my bump and others really didn’t. I’m now pregnant with my second and wonder if it will be noticeable sooner.

I was a size 20 on my 2nd pregnancy and had a very visible bump from 20 weeks onwards.

I'm a 16 on this pregnancy and I'm still not obviously pregnant at 30+5 :(

I'm amazed because my 2nd pregnancy i had a 2lb 9oz baby, this pregnancy I've been told my baby is on the 95th percentile, I've got extra fluid etc.

Pregnancy is so weird.

Thanks everyone. Such a range of different experience.

I really hope I have an obvious bump.. I loved my last one 😊
