AF isn't due for three days, but was suspicious and inpatient so tested this afternoon.
Miscarried in November, was only 5 weeks but heartbroken.
I'm so nervous it won't go well. Debating telling my partner as I don't want to get both our hopes up. Feeling very crampy around pelvis. Sore boobs, slightly nauseous, exhausted and keep falling asleep..

Wait a bit to tell him if you need to. Some cramping can be normal, it can be a very anxious time being pregnant after mc. All you can do is hope it works out this time. Good luck

I'd had a mc at 9+3 after seeing a hb on a private scan in July, was our 2nd mc since our last live birth. When I got bfp with this one I kept it to myself for a week as I'd had a chemical in the previous month too. I bought some digital tests to show dp I was pregnant. I tested again at 6 weeks then did self referral to the midwife team, it was an excruciating wait to the dating scan but all well. Had a private scan since and our baby girl had grown loads, I still worry a lot but it's getting better the further along I get.

I'm sorry about your MC @wallyrag and I completely understand why youd feel nervous and scared. Those are strong lines. Remember after one MC, you are not at any heightened risk of another. Just take it a day at a time. Today, you are pregnant. I really hope this little one sticks.

Hi op firstly congratulations 🥳

I know how you feel, I was in the same boat back in September when we found out I was pregnant. We had lost a baby the year before and had been trying since. I found the first trimester tough emotionally although once sickness started I didn't over analyse as much! I held off until 8 weeks for a private scan which reassured me a bit.

I did tell my partner straight away as I needed to talk. It felt a very long time to get to my dating scan. I'm now 28 weeks and fingers crossed all ok so far.

Wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy x

@TheDaydreamBelievers I'm pregnant today is what I keep saying to try to make the anxiety go away. Thank you for that. Even if it's not meant to be I have to treasure it for as long as I can
