Hi all, i was hoping to find someone who’s going through a similar experience? Or perhaps someone who could point me in the right direction regarding my situation.
According to my app, AF is late by 19 days, my last period started on the 22nd of Jan, I have taken 3 tests (one this morning) all negative, never been pregnancy before, I spotted for two days before my period was due (pinkish/brown colour) (my last period was due around the 26th feb) I have had on and off symptoms of abdominal pain, bloating, but a constant ‘fullness’ and discomfort’ around lower abdomen pelvic region, I’ve also been peeing a lot, had heartburn and acid reflux, bouts of nausea (no vomiting) it’s been worrying me a lot and I’m aware this could be delaying everything even more, I’m worried about speaking to a GP because Because I feel like I’ll be wasting their time, especially if AF does decide to show up in the meantime, I just feel silly really, anyway thank you for reading regardless. x

The only thing you can do is call your GP and explain.
Usually, from my experience, they don't tend to do anything until you've missed 2 periods but it's worth a try

@SnooperTrooper12345 Thank you for taking the time to read and respond, it’s comforting to know other women go through the same thing, although frustrating at the same time! I think I shall just have to bite the bullet and make the call, I’ll only worry myself to death if I don’t. I expect the answer will be to wait but as you say it’s worth a try.

If a woman's period is late because she is pregnant, she will test positive on the first day of her period or even before that. Often, a woman may skip her period due to a hormonal imbalance triggered by stress, exercise, flu, change in climate and a myriad other things. This imbalance may also cause nausea, weird feelings etc. You can wait for your cycle to correct itself, and if it doesn't within the next month or two, or if it really bothers you now, see your doctor. Good luck.

Hi @ @anniebu thank you for your response, yes I think you’re right, I think it could be a combo of other factors other than the obvious, I think I might wait to see AF turns up at the end of the month, thank you for the reassurance, I see many other women on here have similar situations, it’s comforting to know you’re not alone in your worries but frustrating all the same! I’ll post an update on AF x

Hi All, so I posted on here last month that I was very late for my period, so it turned out I missed my period and I think the same is happening this month. I’m 26 years old, never had a baby, usually regular with my cycle, the last time I had a period was on the 22nd of jan, (5 days) my last period was due at the end of feb I had very light spotting for two days around when my period was due but no period. (I took 4 tests and all BFN) I didn’t call the GP as I thought I would wait to see if it corrects itself, I should be due my period now, I have had pms symptoms for more than a week now, I thought I came on today it’s just spotting again, I’m aware AF could show up tommorow or something but something tells me it’s going to be another feb scenario as this is how it panned out last time, I’ve tried to keep stress at a minimum this month and I haven’t thought about my period too much up until now, I have put on weight during lockdown, but I’ve put on weight in the past and it’s never affected my periods before, this is just not normal for me unless I’m calculating everything wrong? I will phone the GP if this doesn’t resolve itself, but I’m feeling really useless and frustrated about it, I needed to vent and I suppose to just see if anyone else has had a similar experience themselves, anyway thanks for taking the time to read.
