Period 11 days late...

Hey,

Just looking for some advice and if anyone has been in the same position as me before.

I am 11 days late for my period, I have never missed a period (other than being pregnant with my first boy) or been later than my 28 day cycle. I have done two pregnancy tests which are negative.

Spoke with the doctor this morning and she advised it could be too early for testing or I could be facing an early miscarriage. She has offered to refer me for a blood test done through the practice.

Has anyone experienced this and ended up being pregnant?

Yes! I was at the doctors for an unrelated issue when he did a test - negative! The same as my home test (I'd already checked myself!) I was back at the doctors 4 days later and a different gp tested which came back positive. I was just so early it hadn't showed either of us...

I've got a doctors appointment for next Wednesday to do a blood test, I may do another pregnancy test at home over the weekend. I just want some peace of mind! I thought at 13 days late, it would show something but the test I have done is a clear negative. Perhaps I ovulated late!!

We have a 9-month old boy so it will be a fun challenge if I turn out to be pregnant. Who knows!
