Hey all,

I'm wondering if anyone had anything similar to this..

First baby and I went for an ultrasound today at 9+3 (baby meassuring 9+1 with heartbeat ) and they noted they were concerned as the pregnancy was located low down (apparently it's closer to my cervix than it should be).

They said it could be normal for me or it could mean the pregnancy won't progress much further. They are rescanning me in two weeks.

Everything I have seen so far indicates not good news for the future (and I can't find anything about it being potentially normal).

Has anyone else had similar and what was the outcome?
We are terrified we might loose a very much wanted (and long time coming) baby.

Thanks!

Hi, I don't have any experience with this but wanted to comment to bump your thread to the top. Hopefully some people who have experienced similar will come along and comment Smile

One of my twins implanted really really low - her placenta was also anterior so a bit of a nightmare - I found it uncomfortable more than anything as with being so low as she grew I got a lot of pain in my hips and pelvis and was on bed rest a lot (but that was also because it was twins). I did have an emergency c section after lots of episodes of heavy bleeding because of the pressure on my cervix - twins were premature at 34 weeks but healthy x
