11 weeks dark discharge and back ache

Hi,

I am about 11 weeks pregnant and on Monday morning I noticed some very dark jellylike discharge followed by brown spotting that carried on all day Monday. I also had some mild backache which has now got a quite a lot worse, almost like the backache I get when I'm on my period. I still have some bleeding (very dark and more than spotting) this morning. Anyone else had this and things turned out ok?

I'm fearing the worst.. I was already nervous all through this pregnancy as I had an MC at 6 weeks late last year. I was just starting to relax a bit with my 12 week scan booked for next week, and allow myself to feel like this will actually happen so I feel really gutted now.

I spoke to the GP yesterday and she booked me in at the EPU to be checked but that's not till Wednesday.

Any positive storied would be massively appreciated!

I think if it’s red blood, that’s when the worry tends to be. I haven’t experienced this but I’ve read a lot of threads on it and most people say don’t worry if it’s brown. But I realise how worrying it must be! Hope everything goes well for you

Yes, that's what I'm telling myself that it's hopefully just some old blood that needs to come out. It just worries me that I also have the back ache. Thanks for your reply!
