Hi there I've been reading some posts but they are quite old - please someone help me! This is my second pregnancy I had bad restless legs with my first but boy it's ramped up this time - I think I also have choleastasis again so between RLS and itching I'm literally getting 1-2 hrs sleep! I am miserable and just don't know what to do Im 31 weeks spoke to gp today and pleaded for them to check my iron levels which is happening weds but that's still 3 nights until results! What can I do I spend most nights in tears I am on my own with a 5 year old, I've tried banana, tonic water, magnesium spray oil cream, Epsom salts which just made the itching worse 😭 hot water bottles, ice packs nothing helps! I'm taking piriton for my itching and that's not even making me drowsy 😩 I've just about had enough, i literally feel like I'm going mad 😭😭😭

I had the same around 31 weeks and completely sympathise with the lack of sleep and desperation. I persevered with the banana, but ate loads of them (and still am). I also Googled exercises to try and found some videos of calf stretches to try using a long elasticated band. These may or may not help but you are not alone - it truly is one of the worst things and only people who have it get it!

Exercise bands! I know it sounds mad but please trust me.
I suffered terribly!
When I couldn't sleep at night but was too tired to move, I'd put them on under the blanket and opened and closed my legs really fast until the were dead.

It soon went away lol. Sounds crazy but worked

@zoeg85 I've had such itchy legs honestly unbearable made my legs bleed from scratching! Try calamine lotion and and oatmeal bath! Worked amazing!!! X
