Hi all

I hope you are all doing great.

I am currently 20 weeks + 4 days pregnant and had my anomaly scan last week. I am Rhesus negative and will need the anti-D jab (although I have not had results back from the bloods, I know for a fact that my DH is rhesus positive).

I was wondering if I can have the whooping cough vaccine in the next week or so and the anti-D one later on during the pregnancy? Has anyone else done this or received any advice.

I haven’t been able to get through to my GP to ask the question. Apologies if this has been answered already, I am a FTM and feeling very anxious.

Thank you very much for reading. X

I had my whooping vac at 20 weeks after the 20 weeks scan and had my anti d at 28 weeks

I had the same as PP.
Whooping cough after 20 week scan and then Anti D at 28 weeks

I had the same as other posters, the nurse said they couldn’t give the whooping cough until after the 20 week scan. I had to organise it myself through the GP surgery though, the midwives gave me zero guidance on it. Anti-d appointment was arranged automatically by midwives.

Thank you both so much Smile

Anti-D is done at 28wk, you should get an app at hospital for that.

The whooping cough can be done between 16 & 32wk, I can't remember when I had mine last time and not been told when it will be this time yet.

Whooping cough at my 20 week scan then anti-D at my GP surgery when I was 28 weeks.
