20 weeks and getting down about my diet

Baby number 3 and I feel like utter death after lunch time. OK until then when I go down hill and only crave carbs / crisps / toasties / cereal. I feel huge and didn’t have this atoll with my other two pregnancies. Worried I’m not getting enough nutrients although am taking my usual pregnancy vitamins. I have this horrid metallic taste in my mouth 24/7 and although not sick I just feel hungover! Please give me some positive stories that this will pass and I’ll stop eating so much!

Can't give you advice but I could have written this. Baby number 3, 22 weeks, weird taste in my mouth, always feel a bit sick (though nothing like 1st trimester) and never eaten so much rubbish in my life!!!

I am avoiding the scales (although my some miracle didn't put much on in the first few months) but I do worry about how little goodness I am giving my baby.

Fun isn't it? Sad

I had the weird metallic taste in my mouth until just recently at 16 weeks. I have never had it in my other pregnancies and found it really annoying. Thankfully it has settled now and I have upped the ante with my exercise and am eating better. Don't beat yourself up x

Thank you both. It’s bizarre - I permanently feel like I’m on day two of a hangover and can still taste the alcohol! I walk 5K a day plus I do run 2-3 times a week but I don’t think it’s enough to combat the carbs!

Thank you. I’m glad I am not alone!

16 weeks . 4th pregnancy and feel absolutely horrendous 24/7. Also really down about my diet as I’m so limited and not much is healthy but it’s all I can stomach. Usually very healthy but it’s just impossible feeling like this.

So you are not alone. Hope it’s passes xx

I’m 9 weeks, craving crisps, chocolate and sugary cereal all the time! Generally I eat healthy for breakfast, lunch and dinner but I struggle to eat dinners in particular.

Tonight I didn’t finish my homemade lasagne but then I got hungry and had a bowl of cereal!

I am finding it hard to stop snacking as I’m hungry all the time. I’m worried about my sugar intake and how much weight I might be gaining! Going to try to stop... from tomorrow lol
