Dizziness and Room Spinning - 13 weeks

I’m 13 weeks pregnant and just last night started feeling dizzy, I hadn’t been doing g anything strenuous and have been well hydrated etc.

I was just sat on the sofa and felt woozy.

So I took myself to bed and when I led down the room started spinning like it does when you’ve had way too any to drink.

It hasn’t gone. Every time I woke up for the loo it was still there. Now I’m up and getting ready to go to work and I still feel dizzy.

I had a google and most of what I found says unless it’s accompanied by blurred vision or headaches then it’s just hormonal and that some women can suffer with vertigo while pregnant due to the rise in hormones and low blood pressure. My worry was pre eclampsia.

I have a blood pressure monitor here which I’ll do in a second but I’d be shocked if it was that as my blood pressure has been on the slightly higher side since the start 127/90 ish (the 90 is the high bit).

I’ve also read it can point to anaemia but I only had bloods done at booking 3 weeks ago and all was fine with my iron levels.

Is it worth a quick call to anyone or can I safely assume it’s just another delightful pregnancy symptom?

Hey I don’t have any experience of this, but I would say to call your triage/midwife to get it checked to be on the safe side x
