Severe back pain

Hi all, I've been having absolutely severe back pain especially at night, to where I'm taking paracetamol and aspirin all day and night! My midwife appointment and doctors not for another 2 weeks and don't want to keep taking the pills but they are the only way I sleep.
I need to book at osteo I think. Any other tips would greatly help! Thank you!

You may have SPD? If so, reducing activity and wearing a support belt will help.

Get an emergency appointment at the doctors. You shouldn't be taking pain medication for more than a few days without consulting the GP.
Hot water bottle helps back pain.

How many weeks are you op?

I'm 26 weeks now, so prime time for this pain I think? I will try to get an emergency appointment. I have hot water bottle and a belt, but a cheap one. I might have a look for another.

You need to find out whats going on before buying belts etc. See osteopath and doctor

Do you have an anterior placenta by any chance? I read recently those who do are more prone to back pain.

Your gp will likely advise you continue with the paracetamol, but they may also prescribe something stronger. I have spd and have been advised to keep on top of paracetamol 4 hourly so that it can build up. I think top up with codiene as and when needed.

*I then

Thank you all. Last time I was told my placenta was high, but feels like things/baby has moved since and had heartbeat checked on Saturday and while trying to find she said oh a bit of placenta in the way so it's possibly moved.
I am going to ring the doctors this morning. Thank you all!
