So... Ive had - Muffled voice- Diarrhea for the best part of a week. Seen doctors who say nothing they can do it will pass.

I really don't believe it will pass. I'm now just eating chicken and rice, a little toast and drinking water. Nothings getting better and I'm starting to feel a little suicidal.

Has anyone else had this in pregnancy?

@Mylittlesandwich I was just about to come on and say exactly the same thing! It was the vitamins that caused mine (what the hell do they put in those things?!) I am just taking vitamin D now (past 12 weeks my midwife said I could drop the folic acid)

Scarftown · 18/03/2021 20:02

Yeah I was coming on to say stop the vitamins for a day or so as that’s what I have experienced. Also I was told if it was really bad I could take a low dose of Imodium.

It could be the vitamins but my obstertrition wants me to take them for some reason. I know other people have stopped. I might look at getting the vit D and Folic acid only but I will have to check with my doctor to see if she's alright with this in my care plan long term.

Though I have been taking them all since 15 weeks and never had this issue before though I'm in my third trimester. Dare I say it could all just be... Hormones? 😑

Absolutely stop the vitamins! Diarrhoea will be much worse for nutritional intake than stopping vitamins. See how it goes.
