Threatened miscarriage

I am 11 weeks 4 days pregnant on Friday I started bleeding sorry to be graphic but it wa a little guah of dark red blood this lasted around 5 minutes I went to emergency room where I was told my cervix was still closed and it is a threatened miscarriage can only have a scan on Tuesday the bleeding is now only when I wipe when going to the toilet which can vary from light pink to light brown and then the odd dark red again I’m just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience how long the bleeding would usually last?

Any bleed can be really scary. I had a massive bleed around 12 weeks had to get swabs etc done at the hospital and my cervix was still closed. My pregnancy is progressing well and I'm now 24 weeks. Try to relax I know it's so much easier said than done

Hello @Vicky94, how are you? Did you end up all ok? I am going through exact same (12w today) but started bleeding on Friday (only light and was pinky/brown). Have had some period type pain with mine though... going EPU today thankfully but am not feeling positive and expecting the worst :(
